Bob Novak
CTLOA Assigner/Secretary/Webmaster

Bob has over 30 years experience officiating lacrosse in both Arizona and most recently in Central Texas. He has been selected for numerous post season games, including Super Regionals and Texas Class C Final Four and Class D Championship. Bob played his college lacrosse for The University of Arizona “Laxcats” and is a member of their ’70’s “All Decade Team”.

Dave Emerick
CTLOA Lead Trainer

Dave has nearly 15 years experience officiating lacrosse at all levels and is a US Lacrosse certified trainer. He has been selected for numerous post season games, including Super Regionals and Texas D2 Final Four. In addition to officiating, he has coached at the youth level and been affiliated with several D1 high school programs.


Jeff Morrison
CTLOA Youth Assigner

Graduated from University of Texas(1994). Started officiating football and lacrosse in the 2006-2007 school year. I enjoy the outdoors, my pets, and playing guitar.


Donald Bull
THSLL Advisory Board Member

Donald began officiating sports in Texas in Houston in 2010. Shortly after he moved to Austin and began calling football from youth to high school levels. He was introduced to lacrosse and fell for the speed and precision of the game. He has enjoyed watching the growth of the sport throughout Central Texas. Donald has been fortunate enough to officiate several levels from youth lacrosse, High School JV and Varsity, as well as Men’s League and Box Lacrosse. Donald has officiated numerous local and regional THSLL playoff games as well as two DII State Championships.


Doug Dickson
Chief Referee/CTLOA Trainer

Doug Dickson played collegiate lacrosse at Middlebury College before launching his career as a teacher, coach, and administrator in boarding schools for over 40 years. During this time, Doug worked in New Hampshire, Texas, and Virginia while officiating youth, high school, and collegiate lacrosse in those three states. He was honored to officiate multiple state championship games in Virginia and Texas while having the opportunity to call NCAA playoff games, several conference championship games and two MCLA national tournaments. Doug continues to teach math in Austin while continuing to be active officiating lacrosse at all levels.
